Additionally, even though many foods may provide good carbohydrates and protein for training, they may also be giving your body an unhealthy dose of saturated fats or cholesterol. Of course, there are different types of fat and cholesterol, which is why it’s so important to be aware of what’s in your food.
Second, in order to help your body function better, you’ll need a greater intake of vitamins and minerals. These agents help the body run better, which means you can get the results you need faster. Many foods naturally contain high levels of these beneficial products, however they should still be consumed with a well-balanced diet in mind. Vitamin C, won’t build muscle per se after all.
