Definition and Synonyms
Definition: An orally available nonpolyglutamated, quinazoline antifolate which selectively inhibits Thymidylate Synthase, inhibiting de novo synthesis of thymidine and causing inhibition of DNA synthesis. ZD9331 has been in clinical trials for ovarian epithelial, primary peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer.
